On a trip or a commute where the carry changes from the car to the sidewalk, the Rothco Convertible Canvas Duffle Backpack goes from your hand to your back in seconds. Its hideaway straps deploy quickly for on-the-go conversion, so you are never stuck holding a duffle when you need both hands.

Inside its 30L, top-load body you can pack clothing, travel accessories and everyday carry essentials, with hidden side pockets that keep a laptop or tablet apart.

Why it works:

  • Switch carry without stopping: Hideaway, fully adjustable backpack straps deploy quickly, turning the duffle into a backpack whenever your hands need to be free.
  • Comfort on longer walks: Mesh padding on the backpack straps adds comfort and cooling while the bag rides on your back.
  • Devices get their own place: Hidden side pockets hold a laptop, tablet and other essentials, and a large front pocket keeps smaller items close.
  • Quick, compact packing: A top-load main compartment with dual zippers and side cinch straps holds 30L in a 19" x 11" footprint.
  • Canvas for frequent trips: The 100% cotton canvas is heavyweight, naturally water-resistant and rugged enough for outdoor adventures and regular travel.

Who it's built for:

Suited to commuters, travelers, hikers and campers who want hands-free carry the moment they need it.
