The Elite First Aid STOMP Medical Backpack is the STOMP pack sold empty, so you can build your own medical loadout in it. STOMP stands for SEAL Team Operations Medical Pack, and it is the same backpack used in the stocked Elite First Aid STOMP Medical Kit. Unzip it and the two compartments open flat like a book, giving you four organized surfaces of mesh pockets, slide pockets, elastic instrument slots and elastic loops. You decide where each item goes, and your layout is in view when the bag opens.

Why it works:

  • Opens flat to four surfaces: The two compartments unzip and lay open like a book, so you can see your supplies without digging through the main compartment.
  • Organization you set up: The front compartment carries 5 mesh pockets, 4 vertical slide pockets, 11 elastic instrument slots and 20 elastic loops in various sizes, with room for the airway, IV and dressing supplies you choose.
  • Pouches and sleeves: The rear compartment holds two detachable zippered pouch inserts, one 12" x 8" with 10 elastic loops and one 10" x 6" with a clear sleeve, plus two 13" wide sleeves for a hydration bladder (sold separately) or a laptop. Pull a pouch out to carry a module separately or hand it to a teammate.
  • Carry and cinch: Nylon construction with YKK zippers, padded shoulder straps with D-rings, a sternum strap, a lumbar support waist belt and a padded back plate. Six adjustable compression straps hold the load steady and slim the profile when the bag is not fully packed.
  • Expand the outside: Five rows of MOLLE webbing with alternating hook and loop take tourniquet holders and extra pouches. A large clear ID window sits on the exterior, and 6 riveted drain holes line the bottom.
