The R&B Fabrications Iron Sling is a 5 oz. sling for firefighters who carry a force ax and a halligan tool. It locks the two tools together so both can be carried hands free. The sling holds the ends of the tools to create a balanced unit that can be worn by the firefighter, and it has a quick release heavy duty carabiner for removal.

Why it works:

  • Both tools, hands free: Move with the force ax and halligan tool together and keep your hands open. The sling locks the two together so both can be carried hands free.
  • Balanced carry: The pair rides as one unit instead of two separate tools. The ends of the tools are held to create a balanced unit worn by the firefighter.
  • Carabiner release: A carabiner handles removal. A quick release heavy duty carabiner allows removal.
  • 5 ounces: The weight is listed. It weighs 5 oz.

Who it's built for:

Designed for firefighters assigned to carry a force ax and a halligan tool. Fire departments and agencies can equip the members who carry them.

  • Use: Locks together a force ax and a halligan tool so both can be carried hands free.
  • Design: Secures the ends of the tools to create a balanced unit that can be worn by the firefighter.
