The First Aid Only Critical Essentials Bleeding Control Kit for Limb, Chest and Torso Wounds holds 10 pieces in a clear, easy tear-open bag, built to supplement the first aid kits already in place around a site. It brings limb, chest and torso supplies to each cabinet without replacing what is there.

Through the bag you can see the windlass tourniquet and its elastic backup, the NuStat hemostatic gauze pad, an Israeli bandage and the non-vented chest seals.

Why it works:

  • Adds to existing kits: The clear bag sits alongside the supplies already stocked in a site first aid cabinet.
  • Limb, chest and torso: 2 non-vented chest seals for the chest, a 4" x 4" NuStat hemostatic gauze pad for torso wounds and a windlass tourniquet for the limbs.
  • Backup and bandaging: A back-up elastic tourniquet, an Israeli bandage and a 5" x 9" trauma pad dressing.
  • Responder essentials: An aluminized rescue/shock blanket, bandage shears and a marker to note tourniquet time, along with a usage guideline and four protective nitrile exam gloves.
  • Tear-open access: The Critical Essentials bag is an easy tear-open bag.

Who it's built for:

For site safety coordinators, it is a way to bring limb, chest and torso supplies into every existing first aid cabinet on the property. For multi-building operations, it is a consistent clear bag that can be checked at a glance during inspections.
