When a worksite or a call carries a real chance of a severe bleed or a burn, the First Aid Only FAO-91146 Enhanced First Responder Bag puts bleeding control and burn supplies inside a 172-piece EMT loadout.

A windlass tourniquet, a NuStat hemostatic gauze pad and an Israeli bandage are staged alongside 2 burn dressings. The Cordura semi-rigid bag moves by handle or shoulder strap from the truck to the injured worker.

Why it works:

  • Bleeding control is already packed: Bleeding control supplies ride in the same bag as the rest of the loadout. Inside are a windlass tourniquet, a tourniquet band (1" x 18"), an Israeli bandage and a NuStat hemostatic gauze pad.
  • Burns have dedicated dressings: Burn injuries are not left to general gauze. The kit carries 2 burn dressings, 4" x 4", for burns at the worksite or on a call.
  • Wound cleaning built into the loadout: Cleaning and covering happen from the same bag. There are 10 antibiotic ointment packets, 12 antiseptic wipes and two dozen alcohol wipes.
