The First Aid Only Right Response Bleeding Control Kit for Limb and Torso Wounds is a 14-piece kit in a zippered pouch for workshops and maintenance crews. Saws, grinders and sheet metal can injure an arm, a leg or the torso, so this kit carries a windlass tourniquet, a back-up elastic tourniquet and a 2 g hemostatic granule packet for torso wounds.

The organized interior keeps each item in its own place, so a coworker finds what is needed without digging.

Why it works:

  • Two tourniquets: A windlass tourniquet plus a back-up elastic tourniquet, so a second limb wound has its own tourniquet.
  • Torso coverage: A hemostatic granule packet, 2 g, for wounds on the torso, which a tourniquet cannot cover.
  • Dressing and warmth: An Israeli bandage, a single 5" x 9" trauma pad dressing and an aluminized rescue/shock blanket to hold in body warmth.
  • Tools on hand: A marker to note tourniquet time, plus bandage shears and 4 protective nitrile exam gloves.
  • Organized zippered pouch: The Right Response red fabric zippered pouch is organized for easy access and holds a bleeding control product usage guideline.

Who it's built for:

For workshop and fabrication supervisors, it is a limb and torso kit to keep near the machines where cuts happen. For maintenance teams, it is a zippered pouch that travels on the service cart from building to building.

Frequently Asked Questions

What changes between this kit and FAO-91138?â–¸

Both share the Right Response zippered pouch, the windlass and back-up elastic tourniquets, the Israeli bandage, the blanket, shears, gloves and marker. This kit lists 14 pieces and carries a 2 g hemostatic granule packet. FAO-91138 lists 16 pieces, carries a 4" x 4" NuStat hemostatic gauze pad in place of the granule packet and adds 2 non-vented chest seals.

Why does it include two tourniquets?â–¸

The back-up elastic tourniquet gives a second option when more than one limb is hurt or the windlass tourniquet is already in use.

Does it include chest seals?â–¸

No. For chest seals in the Right Response line, see FAO-91513 for limb and chest or FAO-91138 for limb, chest and torso.

Can a maintenance department order limb and torso kits in volume?â–¸

Yes. Luminary Global is an SDVOSB and WOSB. We accept purchase orders and GPC for agency and department orders, and offer volume quotes.
