The Emergency Zone Urban Survival Bug Out Bag (2 Person) packs 72 hours of supplies for two into a discreet black backpack meant to look like an ordinary backpack. In a city, blending in matters as much as what you carry. At 15 lb it holds food, water, shelter, first aid and a dynamo radio flashlight, with room left for your medication, clothing and documents.

Why it works:

  • A low profile in the city: Your supplies stay out of sight in a black, nondescript 19" x 15" x 10" backpack meant to look like an ordinary one.
  • Water you can treat, not just carry: Twelve SOS 4.2 oz water pouches come first, then 5 Chlor-Floc water purification pouches and a folding 1L container for more.
  • Food that spares your water: Two 3600 kcal SOS food rations need no extra water or reheating. The USA made SOS food and water is US Coast Guard approved with a 5-year shelf life.
  • Light and radio in one unit: A single dynamo radio flashlight handles both jobs, backed by 2 light sticks.
  • Shelter for two when you stop: A tube tent, 2 reflective sleeping bags and 2 emergency ponchos give you both a place to rest.

Who it's built for:

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this bag draw attention in the city?â–¸

It is built not to. The supplies ride in a discreet black backpack, 19" x 15" x 10", that is meant to look like an ordinary backpack rather than an emergency kit.

Do I need to treat the water before drinking it?â–¸

Not the 12 included SOS 4.2 oz water pouches. The 5 Chlor-Floc water purification pouches, folding 1L container and instruction page are there for treating water you collect after those pouches are used.

Can I fit my own medication and documents inside?â–¸

Yes. The kit is packed to leave space in the backpack for personal items such as medication, clothing and important documents.

Should I choose the Urban Survival Bug Out Bag or the Family Prep Survival Kit for two people?â–¸

Choose the Urban Survival Bug Out Bag for a black backpack and one dynamo radio flashlight. Choose the Family Prep Survival Kit for a red backpack with a rubber flashlight and a weather band AM/FM radio, both with batteries included. Both weigh 15 lb, use a 19" x 15" x 10" backpack and cover two people for 72 hours.

Can a department order the Urban Survival Bug Out Bag with a purchase order?â–¸

Yes. Luminary Global is an SDVOSB and WOSB. We accept purchase orders and GPC for agency and department orders, and offer volume quotes.
