The Emergency Zone Weather Alert Radio is a small, dedicated receiver for the NOAA Weather Radio network of the National Weather Service. The network broadcasts 24 hours a day, with forecasts, current conditions and hazard messages, including severe weather watches and warnings for your area. Seven pre-programmed channels cover the 7 standard frequencies used nationwide. It runs on batteries, so it keeps you informed before, during and after a disaster, even when the power is out.

Thank you for your interest in the in our Emergency Zone Weather Alert Radio. It requires three AAA batteries. There is a sliding knob on the side of it that allows you to flip through the different channels. It is not a crystal radio.
