Quick Overview

This system provides a high-capacity, static water supply for long-term shelter-in-place emergencies like natural disasters or grid failures. It includes all necessary components to treat, seal, and access 55 gallons of water with a 5-year shelf life, eliminating the need for frequent rotation.

Field Application Steps

  1. Select a permanent, cool, dark location and place the empty barrel on blocks off the concrete floor.
  2. Pour the entire bottle of Water Preserver Concentrate into the empty, rinsed barrel.
  3. Fill the barrel with potable water using a food-grade hose, leaving 2-3 inches of headspace.
  4. Securely tighten both bung caps using the provided Bung Wrench to create an airtight seal and mark the fill date.
  5. Store the wrench and siphon pump with the barrel for emergency access.
  6. To dispense, open one cap with the wrench and use the manual siphon pump to transfer water to a clean container.
