The Rothco Canvas Outdoorsman Rucksack keeps water bottles and small items within reach on a long hike, so you are not digging through a full pack to find them. Gear rides in 2 buckled side pockets, a zippered lid compartment and a front zippered pocket, with a spacious drawstring main compartment underneath.

Adjustable padded shoulder straps and a 2" waist belt help evenly distribute weight, so the load sits steady from trailhead to camp.

Why it works:

  • Bottles and gear on the outside: 2 side pockets secured with buckle closures provide storage for items like water bottles or other essential gear.
  • Quick reach for small necessities: A zippered compartment on the pocket lid and a front zippered pocket hold personal necessities and smaller items.
  • Steady carry over long miles: Padded straps that adjust, paired with a 2" waist belt, spread weight evenly through extended outdoor activities.
  • Extra gear rides outside: Multiple D-rings allow for additional gear attachment on extended treks.
  • Canvas that handles the outdoors: Made for long-lasting use in rugged conditions, the heavyweight cotton canvas is naturally water-resistant.

Who it's built for:

For anyone camping or hiking on longer trips who wants essentials close at hand.
