The R&B Fabrications Gripper Hose System with Seatbelt Buckles is the Gripper build for firefighters who would rather have automotive seatbelt buckles than cam hardware. Those buckles take the place of the standard metal cam buckles on all three straps, and a gloved hand can release each one.

Nothing else changes. The webbing is still 2,400-pound strength, cut 2" wide by 42" long to secure the hose, and the padded shoulder strap and semi-rigid cross strap carry over from the original.

  • The buckle style you prefer: Crews who favor a seatbelt-type closure get it without giving up the Gripper design. This model swaps in automotive seatbelt buckles where the original has metal cam buckles.
  • Opens without removing gloves: Freeing the bundle doesn't mean stripping off a glove. The seatbelt buckles give quick release of each strap with a gloved hand.
  • Same size and strength as the original: The three straps are still 2" wide and 42" long, with 2,400-pound strength webbing.
