The Rothco GI Type Enhanced Canvas Duffle Bag keeps clothes, gear and the papers you cannot afford to lose together on a long trip, in 75 liters of 22oz unwashed canvas closed by a full-length zipper under a flap cover.

A center metal locking loop accepts a padlock while you travel, and padded backpack-style shoulder straps take the weight onto your back when the walk runs long.

Why it works:

  • Contents you can lock: Close the trip behind a padlock, since the center metal locking loop on the full-length zipper is made for one.
  • Papers kept apart from the gear: Travel documents stay separate from clothing in the hidden document pocket, along with a hook and loop ID window.
  • A load that sits balanced: Compress or expand the bag to suit what you packed, using 4 compression cinch straps with quick-release buckles for better weight distribution.
  • Carry it three ways: Switch grips as the day changes, with adjustable 0.25" padded backpack-style straps, dual side carry handles and 2 top carry handles with a wrap-around strap.
  • Canvas stitched for heavy loads: Heavy packing is the job it was made for, with 22oz unwashed canvas, reinforced stitching and fabric that is naturally water-resistant.

Who it's built for:

For the traveler packing a full load who wants it on their back and secured with a padlock.
