3. BUILD AND FILL: Pack remaining items into the compartment, filling all voids to prevent internal movement. Use packing cubes or stuff sacks to compartmentalize smaller articles such as socks and hygiene kits for compression and organization.

4. POSITION HIGH-ACCESS ITEMS: Place frequently needed items such as an inclement weather jacket and toiletries on top of the load so they can be retrieved rapidly without disturbing the rest of the pack.

5. SECURE DOCUMENTS: Place all travel documents, manifests, or orders inside the concealed internal document pocket before closing the bag.

6. CLOSE THE MAIN ZIPPER: Close the full-length zipper completely and verify that no fabric is caught or snagged in the zipper teeth before proceeding.

7. SECURE THE STORM FLAP: Fasten the canvas storm flap over the closed zipper track to protect against rain, sand, and environmental contaminants.

8. TIGHTEN COMPRESSION STRAPS: Systematically tighten all four cinch straps with even tension until the load is consolidated and does not shift when shaken. Do not overtighten to the point of deforming the buckles. The compression straps, not the zipper, should bear the load's expansive force.

9. APPLY PADLOCK IF REQUIRED: If transport protocol requires it, affix a padlock through the metal locking loop at the zipper center.

10. SELECT CARRY CONFIGURATION: For vehicle loading and unloading, use the side grab handles or reinforced top carry handles. For foot movement, position the bag with the shoulder straps facing up, adjust both straps to your frame length, don the bag, and maintain upright posture for the movement.
