The EVAC Systems RIT Staging Mat is a roll-out staging area that keeps a RIT team's equipment compartmentalized and ready to grab on the fireground. Five separate pockets along the bottom house a set of irons, bolt cutters, hack saws and other hand tools, and the top of the mat stages rope, TICs, lights and loose gear.

It opens to 55" x 67", rolls to 34" x 16", and one firefighter can carry it.

Why it works:

  • Every hand tool has a pocket: Tools sit in their own place instead of piling up, in five separate pockets along the bottom.
  • Room to lay out accessories: Loose items get a defined spot. The top of the mat is the staging area for rope, TICs, lights and loose gear.
  • Large when open, compact when rolled: The mat gives the team a wide working surface and packs down for the rig. It measures 55" x 67" open and 34" x 16" rolled and stowed.
  • Holds its roll: The rolled mat stays closed in transit. Two deluxe side thumb release snap hooks with webbing secure it.
  • One-firefighter carry: A single member can bring it to the staging point. Carrying handles sit at each end, and the mat is made of 1000D Cordura nylon.

Who it's built for:

Fire departments and RIT teams staging equipment on the fireground that want tools and accessories laid out in one organized footprint.

Included

  • 1 x EVAC Systems RIT Staging Mat

Not included

  • Tools and equipment.
  • Tools and Platform in One For the RIT team staging at a firefighter-down scene. Five pockets carry the forcible-entry tools in, then the mat unrolls into a 55-by-67-inch tool deck on arrival.
  • A Clean Deck off the Mud For the crew staging on wet or dirty ground. The open surface keeps the RIT air pack, search rope, and thermal imager out of mud, snow, and debris while staying in reach.
  • Forcible-Entry Tools Secured For the responder transporting the irons. Pockets sized for irons, bolt cutters, and hack saws keep heavy tools from shifting on the carry.
  • No Yard-Sale of Tools For the team that cannot lose seconds hunting gear. A disciplined layout gives every tool a home, so a crew grabs the irons or the air without fumbling in the dark.
  • Orange Marks the RIT Sector For command reading the fireground. High-visibility orange signals the RIT staging sector to command and other crews at a glance.
