The Rothco Compact Tactisling Shoulder Bag keeps your everyday carry organized and within reach on one ambidextrous strap. On a travel day or a commute, the small things matter most: keys, phone, glasses and a tablet. This bag gives each one its own place. The zippered main compartment measures 9 x 3.5 x 12 inches with an interior zip pouch and a tablet pocket, and the padded strap switches between left and right-side carry so it sits where you want it.

Why it works:

  • Glasses ride protected: Your eyewear stays clear of the crush in a busy bag, because the front top zippered pouch has a hard protector insert, an open top pocket and elastic MOLLE storage loops.
  • Carry it on either side: Wear it the way that suits you, since the adjustable padded shoulder strap switches between left and right-side carry and adds a stabilizing strap.
  • Keys and small items at hand: Daily small items get a home in the front bottom zippered pocket, with a key holder, a front zip pocket, an open top pocket and interior elastic MOLLE loops.
  • Phone pouch on the strap: Your phone rides on the strap itself in an elastic cell phone pouch, next to MOLLE loops, a quick-release buckle, a D-ring and a metal clip.
  • Back pocket for valuables or a holster: The back pocket closes with a thumb snap and works as an anti-theft pocket for valuables, or its large loop field mounts a hook and loop CCW holster (holster not included).

Who it's built for:

Built for the everyday carrier who travels and commutes and wants EDC essentials organized close at hand.

  • Armed Citizen, Ambidextrous CCW: the switchable single strap positions a holstered sidearm for a left- or right-hand draw.
  • Gray-Man Commuter, Low-Profile EDC: the plain sling profile carries defensive gear through public spaces without notice.
  • Hiker, Stabilized Cross-Body Carry: the secondary strap stops the pack shifting while running, climbing, or on the trail.
  • Everyday Carrier, Eyewear Protection: the hard protector insert in the top pouch guards glasses or electronics from impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it come with a holster?▸

No. The back pocket has a large loop field that mounts a hook and loop CCW holster you supply. Without a holster, the same pocket serves as an anti-theft pocket for valuables.

Can I switch it to my other shoulder?▸

Yes. The adjustable, padded shoulder strap switches between left and right-side carry, and it has a stabilizing strap to keep the bag in place.

Can it attach to my belt?▸

Yes. A hook and loop strap on the back secures the bag to a belt, and a padded top carry handle with two D-rings gives you a second way to grab it.

Can agencies and departments order the Rothco Compact Tactisling Shoulder Bag with a purchase order?▸

Yes. Luminary Global is an SDVOSB and WOSB. We accept purchase orders and GPC for agency and department orders, and offer volume quotes.
