The Rothco Elastic Ankle Holster carries a sub compact or pocket pistol at the ankle when nothing can show at the waist. It measures 14" x 5" and closes with hook and loop to fit snug and secure around your ankle, while sheep wool padding sits against the leg for comfort. Webbing with a hook and loop retention strap holds the pistol, and a 1" plastic clip lets you attach a shirt stay. It is made for deep concealed carry.

Why it works:

  • Comfort at the ankle: Padding makes extended wear easier on the leg. The holster is lined with sheep wool padding for comfort.
  • Snug around the leg: The holster stays put where you wear it. The 14" x 5" polyester elastic webbing closes with hook and loop for a snug, secure fit.
  • Secure retention: The firearm stays seated while you go about your day. A hook and loop retention strap on the webbing holds it.
  • Pairs with a shirt stay: You can connect the holster to a shirt stay if you use one. A 1" plastic clip is built in for that attachment.
  • Small pistols, deep concealment: Your pistol stays out of view below the waistline. It is built to fit sub compact and pocket pistols discreetly.

Who it's built for:

For carriers of sub compact and pocket pistols who want deep concealment at the ankle. It is also duty gear for law enforcement officers.

  • All-Day Backup Comfort Concealed carriers wear a pocket pistol on the ankle without the usual chafing. The genuine sheep wool cushions the ankle bone through a long day.
  • Deep Concealment Carriers hide a sub-compact pistol under trousers with total discretion. The shirt-stay clip stops the holster sliding down the leg while walking.
  • Officer Backup Carry Officers carry a backup pocket pistol low and concealed on a long shift. The 5-inch elastic band wraps snug for a run or a foot pursuit.
  • Pocket-Pistol Fit Owners of an LCP, Glock 42, or Bodyguard carry it secure against the leg. The hook-and-loop closure adjusts the band for a snug fit.
