The Rothco LACV Side Radio Pouch Set moves your radios off the front of the Lightweight Armor Carrier Vest and onto its sides, where they stay close at hand. Each pouch mounts by a hook and loop field, so the vest front stays open for the rest of your setup. An elastic cord closure with a pull tab holds each radio in place yet lets you reach it quickly, and every pouch has a drain hole. Two pouches come in the set.

Why it works:

  • Keeps the vest front clear: Comms ride on the sides rather than up front, because a hook and loop field attaches each pouch to the side of the Lightweight Armor Carrier Vest.
  • Secure hold, quick reach: Your radio stays seated until you go for it, since the elastic cord with pull tab secures the radio while allowing quick access.
  • Two pouches in one order: You can fit out your side setup in a single purchase, with the pouches sold as a set of two.
  • Easy to size against your radio: You can check your handset before ordering: the main opening measures 8.5" and the depth is 6.5".
  • Durable polyester build: Each pouch is made of 100% 600D polyester and includes a drain hole.

Who it's built for:

For the LACV owner who wants radio carry on the sides of the vest.

  • Vest-Mounted Comms Operators mount a handheld radio to the side of an LACV vest for reachable comms. The hook-and-loop backing bonds directly without weaving MOLLE.
  • Duty & Patrol Radio Carry Officers keep a radio seated on a plate carrier with a tactical pull-tab for quick access. The elastic cord holds the device through movement.
  • Airsoft & MilSim Airsoft and milsim players add balanced left and right radio pouches to an LACV loadout. The 600 denier shell takes repeated field use.
  • Range & Training Range shooters mount a radio or small device to a vest for a training day. The direct-attach backing sets up fast without extra hardware.
