Ten Straps, Fast and Universal Immobilization
In a trauma scenario, speed is critical. Kemp USA Spineboard Straps provide rapid, reliable patient security on any standard backboard. Rather than a complicated multi-point system, these straps are simple and intuitive. Loop the ends through the spineboard handles, click the buckle, and pull to tighten. This listing ships ten straps to a pack, which matches how boards are actually outfitted since full immobilization takes three to four straps per board.
Choose Your Configuration
Two configurations are available and each pack contains ten straps in the one you select. The one-piece strap is a continuous length with the buckle integrated, giving maximum adjustability in a single pass, and it suits torso and hip securement where speed matters most. The two-piece strap separates into male and female halves that attach independently to opposite sides of the board, which makes threading easier around specialty boards or around equipment already attached to the patient.
Both configurations share the same 2-inch nylon webbing, the same 72-inch length, and the same quick-release plastic side-release buckle.
Pack Configuration
Each pack contains ten straps in the configuration selected. Configurations are not mixed within a pack. Most agencies stock both, ordering one pack of each.
Key Features
- Quick-Release Efficiency: Heavy-duty plastic buckle clips click shut securely and release with a single squeeze, allowing fast application and removal.
- Universal Fit: Loop ends girth-hitch around the handhold pins or handles of any manufacturer's spineboard, including Kemp, Ferno, and Iron Duck models.
- Durable Webbing: Strong 2-inch nylon webbing resists fraying, water absorption, and UV damage.
- Adjustable Length: The 72-inch length provides ample slack for patients of varying sizes.
- Corrosion-Free Hardware: The plastic buckles will not rust in pool or salt water environments, and they are X-ray translucent.
- Ten Straps Per Pack: Outfits two to three boards completely, or restocks a fleet, from one line item.
Why It Matters
Complexity causes errors. A simple strap system lets responders customize the strapping configuration, crisscross across the chest or straight across the hips, based on the patient's injury. Buying ten at a time means a board is never partially strapped because the last two went missing.
