The EVAC Systems New York Style Search Operations Bag is a slim search rope bag built around a front pocket that holds 200 to 220 ft of Searchlite or other 7.5mm rope. At 11" x 4" x 10", the whole bag stays slim on the body, and the line runs out of the front pocket as the team moves, leaving a path back to fresh air.

Why it works:

  • Sized for 7.5mm line: The front pocket measures 11" L x 4" W x 8" H and holds 200 to 220 ft of Searchlite or other 7.5mm rope.
  • Slim on the body: The bag measures 11" x 4" x 10" and carries the rope in its front pocket.
  • Releases at either end: A seatbelt-style quick-release buckle on both ends of the shoulder strap gives quick release in an emergency.
  • Tools ride with the rope: On the 2-pocket version, the end pockets store tools and other supplies.
  • Easy to spot: Heat-resistant reflective tape runs on the front and back of the 1000D Cordura nylon bag.

Who it's built for:

Built for firefighters and search teams who run Searchlite or other 7.5mm search line. It comes in Red, Black, Yellow or Orange, in 1-pocket or 2-pocket versions.

Included

  • 1 x EVAC Systems New York Style Search Operations Bag

Not included

  • Rope.
  • The FDNY Compact for Narrow Pushes For the RIT control firefighter in an urban tenement. At just 11 by 4 by 10 inches it carries a full search line through the narrow hallways and tight apartments where a standard bag is too bulky.
  • A Full Line in a Squat Profile For the searcher who refuses to become an anchor. Carrying 200 to 220 feet of thin 7.5mm rope in a low-profile bag keeps a full-length search line without the drag of a larger carrier.
  • Dual-Buckle Release From Either Side For the officer who could snag on debris. Two seatbelt buckles let the bag be jettisoned ambidextrously in a split second if entangled.
  • Rated for Radiant Heat For the firefighter taking the line into a hot structure. The 1000D Cordura withstands radiant heat to 500 degrees, protecting the synthetic search rope in transport.
  • Configured One Pocket or Two For the team matching the bag to its tools. A one-pocket style carries the line in its front pocket, and a two-pocket style organizes carabiners and wire cutters.
