The Emergency Zone Deluxe Classroom Lockdown Kit is built for a school that wants the most food, water treatment and tools in the room, with 8 SOS food bars. Beyond the 30 water pouches, the kit adds 5 Chlor-Floc water purification pouches, an 8L foldable water carrier and a folding 1L container. Flashlights, candles, a 4-in-1 dynamo radio flashlight, a tube tent and a pry bar complete the 38 lb kit.

Why it works:

  • More food in the room: Eight 3600 calorie SOS food bars need no extra water or reheating and were developed to be non-thirst inducing.
  • Water beyond the pouches: 30 x 4.2 oz SOS water pouches come first, then 5 Chlor-Floc water purification pouches with an instruction sheet, an 8L foldable water carrier and a folding 1L container.
  • Several ways to light the room: Two compact 9 LED flashlights with batteries, 5 light sticks, 2 x 6 packs of candles, waterproof matches and a 4-in-1 Dynamo Radio Flashlight.
  • Hand tools packed in: A pry bar, multitool knife, duct tape and 2 pairs of work gloves handle small jobs.
  • Shelter, first aid and news: A tube tent, 5 reflective blankets, 5 ponchos and a 175 pc first aid kit pair with an AM/FM/WB radio that receives weather and hazard messages for your area.

  • Provisioned for Extended Confinement For the safety coordinator whose plan must cover more than a few hours. The Deluxe step doubles food to 28,800 calories, enough to hold a full classroom through a lockdown that stretches into a second day.
  • Store and Treat Water, Not Just Carry It For the administrator whose lockdown could outlast the packaged pouches. An 8-liter foldable carrier and 1-liter container store water drawn on site, and 5 Chlor-Floc pouches purify it, turning a fixed ration into a renewable supply.
  • Light and Information After the Batteries Die For staff facing a power failure that outlasts the flashlights. A hand-crank 4-in-1 dynamo radio and flashlight generate their own power, holding communication and light once stored batteries are spent.
  • Equipped for an Overnight Lockdown For the coordinator preparing rooms that may hold students past a single day. A tube tent, candles, waterproof matches, a multitool knife, and a second pair of work gloves add the shelter and tools a multi-day confinement demands.
