- Rip the pouch from its mounting platform to bring all medical supplies directly to the casualty.
- Control massive limb bleeding immediately with the CAT Tourniquet, placed 'high and tight', and record the application time with the marker.
- Pack junctional or non-tourniquetable wounds with QuikClot Combat Gauze and secure with the Israeli Emergency Bandage.
- Seal any penetrating chest wounds (entry and exit) with the Hyfin Vent Chest Seals to prevent a sucking chest wound.
- Manage the airway of an unconscious patient using the Nasopharyngeal Airway (if trained) and prepare for extraction.
