Quick Overview

This bag is engineered to carry 200 feet of thin-diameter (6.8mm-7.5mm) rope for Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) and search operations in confined spaces. Its compact, stable profile and dual quick-release shoulder strap are designed to enhance firefighter mobility and safety during structural searches.

Field Application Steps

  1. Confirm rope is properly STUFFED (not coiled) with the anchor end secured to the base D-ring.
  2. Don the bag cross-body, ensuring both seatbelt release buckles are unobstructed and accessible.
  3. At the entry point, secure the bag's D-ring or rope-end to a substantial, fixed anchor.
  4. Open the top flap and place the bag on its square base to begin the search, allowing the line to pay out freely.
  5. If the bag or strap becomes entangled, actuate the nearest seatbelt buckle to immediately ditch the carrier.
