Quick Overview

The Elite First Aid Pro II Trauma Bag is a professional-grade mobile medical system containing over 250 organized supplies that enables EMTs, paramedics, first responders, and CERT teams to assess, treat, and stabilize patients across trauma, hemorrhage, airway, and surgical intervention scenarios.

The Pro II is organized into six functional categories: Bleeding and Trauma, Sprain and Fracture, Airway and Diagnostic, Topical and Burn, Surgical and Instruments, and General Supplies. The loadout is weighted toward the highest-priority interventions, with over 100 individual items dedicated to bleeding and trauma control and 68 items covering topical and burn care. This distribution reflects field reality, where hemorrhage and wound management represent the most frequent and immediately life-threatening emergencies operators will encounter.

The kit's diagnostic and surgical capability sets it apart from basic first aid systems. The included Blood Pressure Kit, Stethoscope, and LED Penlight support full cardiovascular and neurological baseline assessment within minutes of arrival. The Scalpel Handle with two blades, two Suture Sets, and two Stainless Steel Hemostats provide field surgical capability for wound closure, foreign body removal, and hemorrhage clamping when definitive care is delayed.

The bag is constructed from heavy-duty nylon with YKK zippers and built in Fluorescent Orange with reflective strips for rapid identification in low-light and chaotic environments. At 9.5 lbs fully stocked and 19 inches in length, the Pro II is portable enough for foot deployment while accommodating the full 36-inch SAM Splint folded. Modular padded dividers allow operators to segregate supplies by treatment priority for immediate access under stress.

Field Application Steps

1. INITIAL ASSESSMENT AND VITALS: Deploy the Blood Pressure Kit, Stethoscope, and LED Penlight immediately upon reaching the patient to establish baseline cardiovascular and neurological status. If a diabetic emergency is suspected, administer the Instant Glucose Tube without delay.

2. HEMORRHAGE CONTROL: Apply the Rubber Tourniquet to extremity wounds, positioned proximal to the bleeding site and tightened until hemorrhage stops. Use the Multi-Trauma Dressing and Abdominal Pads for direct pressure on major wounds, and pack deep wounds with sterile sponges before securing all dressings firmly.

3. AIRWAY AND BREATHING MANAGEMENT: Insert the appropriately sized Oral Airway to maintain airway patency in an unconscious or compromised patient. Deploy the CPR Shield for rescue breathing and use Ammonia Inhalants to rapidly address fainting or altered consciousness.

4. FRACTURE IMMOBILIZATION: Form the 36-inch SAM Splint to match the geometry of the injured limb and secure it in place with the 6-inch Elastic Bandage. This immobilizes the fracture, reduces pain, and prevents further injury during patient movement or transport.

5. WOUND AND BURN CARE: Use EMT Shears to safely expose injury sites without causing additional trauma. Cleanse minor wounds with Antiseptic Wipes and apply appropriate dressings from the Bleeding and Trauma category. For burn injuries, apply Burn Aid Packages directly to the affected area to cool the tissue and provide immediate pain relief.

6. SURGICAL INTERVENTION (WHEN DEFINITIVE CARE IS DELAYED): Deploy the Scalpel Handle with blade, Suture Sets, and Stainless Steel Hemostats for minor field surgical procedures including wound closure, foreign body removal, and hemorrhage clamping. These instruments are to be used only by operators with formal training in field surgical technique.
