Quick Overview

The Kemp USA 3-Day Assault MOLLE Tactical Backpack is a 40-liter modular tactical platform constructed from 600D water-resistant nylon, used by first responders, emergency preparedness operators, and tactical professionals requiring a field-ready loadout system for 72-hour deployments.

The pack measures 13 inches wide by 20 inches tall by 11 inches deep and is built with double-stitched reinforced seams throughout. Its PALS/MOLLE webbing system spans the front and side panels, enabling operators to attach mission-specific pouches, tourniquet holders, magazine carriers, and diagnostic kits without modifying the pack itself. Velcro loop panels on the front accept unit, name, and blood type patches for rapid field identification. A padded, ventilated back panel and contoured shoulder straps support extended carry under load.

The pack is available in two color variants calibrated to specific deployment contexts. The High-Visibility Red variant is the designated configuration for EMS and first responder professionals who require immediate visual identification at chaotic scenes. The Tactical Black variant provides a low-profile signature appropriate for security, law enforcement, and range applications. Both variants share the same 40-liter capacity and structural specifications.

Internal organization protocol requires placing dense, heavy items closest to the back panel to maintain a stable center of gravity during movement. Smaller compartments serve administrative gear, electronics, and tools. The pack includes a hydration bladder sleeve, though the bladder is not included. Side and front compression straps secure contents, reduce pack profile, and minimize gear noise during field movement.

Field Application Steps

1. LOOSEN ALL STRAPS: Before donning the pack, fully loosen the shoulder straps, sternum strap, and all compression straps. This ensures proper fitment adjustment once the pack is on your body.

2. CONFIGURE MOLLE ATTACHMENTS BEFORE PACKING: Mount all exterior MOLLE-compatible pouches, tourniquet holders, and accessory kits to the front and side webbing panels before loading the interior. Setting the external loadout first allows you to assess total system weight and balance prior to finalizing internal packing.

3. LOAD HEAVY ITEMS TO THE BACK PANEL: Place dense, infrequently accessed items such as spare clothing and bulk rations directly against the back panel inside the main compartment. This positions the heaviest weight close to your center of gravity and reduces strain during extended movement.

4. LOAD LIGHTER AND FREQUENTLY ACCESSED ITEMS OUTWARD: Pack administrative gear, electronics, navigation tools, and medical supplies in the smaller outer compartments. Items you will need to reach quickly under field conditions should never be buried in the main compartment.

5. DON THE PACK AND ADJUST SHOULDER STRAPS: Put the pack on and position it high and snug against your back. Adjust the shoulder straps until the load is distributed evenly across both shoulders and the upper back, with no single point bearing disproportionate weight.

6. SECURE THE STERNUM STRAP: Adjust the sternum strap to a comfortable height across the chest. A properly set sternum strap prevents the shoulder straps from shifting outward during movement without restricting breathing.

7. CINCH COMPRESSION STRAPS: Tighten the side and front compression straps to secure all contents. This step prevents gear shift during movement, minimizes the pack's external profile, and reduces noise, all of which matter in operational environments.

8. CONDUCT POST-MISSION INSPECTION: After every deployment, inspect all seams, zippers, and MOLLE webbing for wear, fraying, or damage. Clean the 600D nylon fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap, air dry completely away from direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry location away from UV exposure. Do not machine wash.
