Quick Overview

The Rothco Flexipack serves as a compact, convertible carry system for organizing and transporting mission-essential items. Its primary function is to transition seamlessly from a standalone EDC shoulder bag to a modular utility pouch mounted directly onto a tactical vest or rucksack via its integrated MOLLE straps.

Field Application Steps

  1. Load main compartment with mission-essential items, securing them with the internal drawstring closure.
  2. Close the main flap and secure it using the 2-inch quick-release buckle, adjusting for a snug fit.
  3. Configure for carry: attach the padded shoulder strap for standalone use OR detach and stow the strap for MOLLE mounting.
  4. For MOLLE attachment, correctly weave the two rear vertical straps through the PALS webbing on the target platform (vest, pack).
  5. Secure the button snaps on the MOLLE straps and conduct a positive retention check by firmly pulling on the bag.
  6. Utilize the front zippered pouch for high-frequency access items like keys, identification, or small tools.
