Quick Overview

An emergency toilet sanitation pack is a self-contained waste collection and treatment system that enables operators to manage human waste hygienically during plumbing failures, natural disasters, or any scenario where conventional sewer infrastructure is unavailable.

The kit is built around two core components that work together: heavy-duty toilet liners that isolate waste from the container, and Eco Gel Sticks that solidify liquid waste into a stable gel using a non-toxic, lemongrass-scented polymer. Each gel stick treats approximately 0.5 to 1 gallon of liquid, giving the kit a total liquid treatment capacity of roughly 10 gallons across 10 uses. A single biohazard bag serves as secondary containment for the sealed liner, clearly communicating hazardous contents to anyone handling the package downstream.

Deployment protocol follows a strict four-phase sequence: site selection, system setup, operational use, and waste securing. Nitrile gloves must be donned before any component is handled. The liner must not exceed two-thirds capacity before it is twisted, double-knotted, and transferred to the biohazard bag. Sealed bags must be stored away from living quarters and disposed of per local emergency directives, never in storm drains, waterways, or on public lands.

This is a single-use system rated for 10 deployments. After all liners are expended, the full kit or all consumables must be replaced. Individual components, including liners and the biohazard bag, are not designed for cleaning or reuse. Annual inspection of packaging integrity is required to maintain field-ready status.

Field Application Steps

1. DON NITRILE GLOVES: Put on the provided nitrile gloves before touching any kit component. This is a mandatory first action and the minimum required PPE for the entire procedure.

2. SELECT AND PREPARE YOUR SITE: Designate a stable, private, and well-ventilated area for the sanitation station. Choose a clean, dry container free of sharp edges, with a standard 5-gallon bucket or a non-flushing toilet bowl being acceptable options.

3. INSTALL THE TOILET LINER: Unfold one toilet liner and place it into your container. Fold the edges over the rim to secure the liner in place and prevent displacement during use.

4. PRE-TREAT THE LINER: Sprinkle approximately one-quarter of one Eco Gel Stick into the bottom of the empty liner before first use. This initiates odor control and prepares the system for liquid waste solidification.

5. CONDUCT USE AND APPLY GEL AFTER EACH USE: The system is now ready for use. After each individual use, add Eco Gel directly into the liner to achieve full solidification of liquid waste. Keep the commode covered between uses to further control odor.

6. MONITOR FILL LEVEL: Do not allow the liner to exceed two-thirds full at any point. An overfilled liner carries a high risk of rupture during transport and handling.

7. SEAL THE LINER: When the liner reaches two-thirds capacity or the kit has reached its operational limit, twist the top of the liner tightly and tie a double knot. Inspect the full surface of the liner for any tears or leaks before proceeding.

8. TRANSFER TO BIOHAZARD BAG: Insert the sealed liner into the provided biohazard bag. Expel excess air from the bag and seal it securely to prevent leakage and to communicate the hazardous nature of the contents to any subsequent handlers.

9. REMOVE AND DISPOSE OF GLOVES: Peel the nitrile gloves off inside-out to contain any surface contamination. Dispose of gloves inside the biohazard bag or separately as a biological hazard.

10. STORE AND DISPOSE PER LOCAL DIRECTIVES: Store the sealed biohazard bag away from living quarters until proper disposal is available. Default disposal method is double-bagging and placing with municipal solid waste if permitted. Never dispose of sealed bags in storm drains, waterways, or on public lands.
