Quick Overview

This is a centralized medical system designed to equip trained lay responders in large facilities like offices or schools to manage a mass casualty incident. Its primary function is to provide the tools for immediate, life-sustaining first aid, focusing on basic bleeding control, fracture immobilization, and minor wound care until professional EMS arrives.

Field Application Steps

  1. Confirm scene safety, retrieve the unit, and establish a Casualty Collection Point (CCP).
  2. Don PPE and rapidly organize supplies by function: Bleeding Control, Fracture Care, Minor Wounds.
  3. Perform rapid triage, prioritizing and immediately treating casualties with massive hemorrhage using trauma dressings.
  4. Immobilize suspected fractures and manage minor wounds on less critical casualties.
  5. Prevent hypothermia by covering all trauma casualties with emergency blankets.
  6. Provide a concise, structured handover report to arriving EMS personnel.
