- With the flow dial set to '0', align the pin-index yoke with the cylinder post and hand-tighten the T-handle until snug.
- Slowly open the main cylinder valve with a wrench while standing aside from the regulator, then check the gauge and listen for leaks.
- Rotate the click-style knob to select the prescribed Liter Per Minute (LPM) flow rate.
- Connect the patient's delivery device tubing to the appropriate outlet (hose barb or threaded DISS port).
- To secure the system, close the cylinder valve first, then bleed all residual pressure from the regulator before removal.
