- Load 150 ft. of hose using an accordion fold, placing the nozzle and coupling at the Rapid Deployment End.
- Secure the three main Velcro® straps to consolidate the load, then select the appropriate carry method (one-person, two-person, or shoulder strap).
- Transport the pack to the staging point, utilizing the two-person carry for all stairwell ascents.
- Position the pack on the ground with the deployment end facing the objective; do NOT open the main flaps.
- Connect to the water source, grasp the nozzle, and advance; the hose will pay out smoothly and directly from the pack.
- Once the line is deployed, move the empty pack to a safe location to clear the operational area.
