3. HARDWARE SELECTION: Select fasteners appropriate to the substrate: machine screws with washers and locking nuts for metal panels, wood screws or lag bolts with washers for wood or composite surfaces, and heavy-duty UV-resistant zip ties or coated steel wire for cage or mesh surfaces. Do not use undersized or low-grade fasteners, as inadequate hardware is the primary cause of mount failure.

4. MARKING AND PILOT HOLES: With the bag positioned correctly, mark the center of all four grommet hole locations onto the mounting surface. Remove the bag and drill pilot holes where required by the substrate material.
