Quick Overview

These binoculars are designed for versatile, long-range observation in non-tactical scenarios like sightseeing or wildlife watching. Their key function is to allow a user to scan a wide area at low power and then zoom in for detailed identification of a distant object.

Field Application Steps

  1. Adjust eyecups for use with or without glasses, then adjust the central hinge to match your eye width.
  2. Calibrate the optics: Cover the right lens and use the center wheel to focus for your left eye.
  3. Cover the left lens and use the diopter ring on the right eyepiece to focus for your right eye.
  4. Scan terrain at the lowest (8x) magnification for the widest and most stable field of view.
  5. Once a target is located, increase magnification using the zoom lever for detailed identification.
  6. For magnifications above 12x, you must stabilize the binoculars on a solid surface to eliminate image shake.
