Field Application Steps

1. SURVEY AND PREPARE THE SITE: Identify the most level and stable patch of ground within your position. Avoid severe slopes, loose scree, and water-logged areas, then clear all sharp rocks, sticks, and debris from the stool's footprint to protect the foot caps and establish a stable base.

2. CONDUCT PRE-DEPLOYMENT INSPECTION: Visually inspect all steel tubing for bends, cracks, or corrosion, and check all welds and joints for integrity. Examine the 600D polyester seat for rips, tears, or frayed stitching, particularly at the seams where the fabric attaches to the frame, and confirm all four non-slip foot caps are present and undamaged.

3. UNFOLD THE FRAME: Grasp two opposing legs of the folded stool and pull them firmly apart in an outward motion. Continue expanding until the scissor-action joints pivot to their full extension, the seat fabric becomes taut, and the frame feels rigid.

4. CONDUCT STABILITY CHECK: Apply firm downward pressure with both hands to the center of the seat. Confirm that all four foot caps are in solid contact with the ground and that the stool does not rock or shift under load before mounting.

5. MOUNT THE STOOL: Lower your body weight onto the center of the seating platform in a controlled manner. Avoid perching on the edge or making sudden lateral weight shifts, as off-center loading can cause instability and tipping.

6. MAINTAIN OPERATIONAL POSITION: Sit centered at all times during your rotation. Do not rock, bounce, or make dynamic weight transfers. Keep fingers and hands clear of the scissor-action joints whenever adjusting position or equipment.

7. DISMOUNT AND COLLAPSE THE FRAME: Stand up fully and clear the stool before initiating collapse. Grasp the underside of the seat and lift, or push two opposing legs inward, until the scissor-action joints activate and the stool reaches its flat, low-profile transport configuration.

8. CLEAN AND STOW: Remove all dirt, mud, and moisture from the frame and fabric using a brush or damp cloth. Allow the stool to dry completely before extended stowage, then store it in its folded configuration in a cool, dry location away from heavy equipment that could deform the frame.
