Quick Overview

This kit is engineered for rapid, tear-away deployment from a fixed point on a vehicle or in a remote outdoor setting. Its contents are designed to manage injuries ranging from minor cuts and scrapes to life-threatening emergencies like severe arterial bleeding and penetrating chest wounds.

Field Application Steps

  1. Securely mount the kit's backing panel to a fixed, highly accessible point on your vehicle, stand, or pack.
  2. In an emergency, grasp the pouch handle and pull firmly away from the panel to instantly release the kit for transport to the casualty.
  3. Immediately identify and treat massive hemorrhage using the tourniquet for limbs or the hemostatic dressing for junctional wounds.
  4. Address penetrating chest trauma by applying a vented chest seal over the wound.
  5. After controlling life-threats, manage minor wounds and prevent hypothermia with the rescue blanket while awaiting evacuation.
  6. Use the included marker to document the time of tourniquet application on the casualty.
