Quick Overview

The G.I. Poncho Liner provides a lightweight, compressible insulation layer for military, tactical, and general preparedness use. It functions primarily as a component of a weather-resistant sleeping system when tied into a rain poncho, or as a standalone field blanket for warmth.

Field Application Steps

  1. Lay poncho flat, ground-side down.
  2. Place liner on top and align its tie strings with the poncho's grommets.
  3. Securely fasten all tie strings to the corresponding grommets.
  4. Fold the integrated system in half lengthwise to create a bivy/bag shape.
  5. Snap the poncho's sides closed, leaving a top opening for entry.
  6. Use the system for insulated, weather-resistant rest.
