Quick Overview

This is an all-in-one trauma dressing designed to control massive hemorrhage from large wounds, such as abdominal injuries, amputations, and major lacerations. Its oversized sterile pad covers the injury while a unique integrated pressure bar applies significant, direct pressure to the wound site to stop bleeding effectively.

Field Application Steps

  1. Expose the wound and place the 12"x12" sterile pad directly over it.
  2. Wrap the elastic leader around the body/limb and thread it through the Pressure Bar.
  3. Forcefully reverse the wrap's direction, pulling the Pressure Bar down to apply direct pressure onto the pad.
  4. Continue wrapping tightly to cover the entire pad and maintain constant tension.
  5. Secure the end of the wrap by hooking the built-in Closure Bar into the bandage layers.
  6. Reassess for bleeding control and check circulation if applied to an extremity.
