Quick Overview

This stretcher's primary function is patient transport in high-risk environments where fabric litters would be destroyed by debris, chemicals, or fluids. Its all-metal, non-porous construction makes it exceptionally durable and easy to decontaminate, rendering it ideal for industrial, tactical, or Hazmat response.

Field Application Steps

  1. Unfold the stretcher by extending the rails until the central hinge locks straight, creating a rigid platform.
  2. Using a two-person log-roll or lift, transfer the patient onto the center of the metal slat bed.
  3. Secure the patient to the litter using a minimum of three separately-procured straps (chest, pelvis, legs).
  4. With a team of 2-4 operators, lift using proper ergonomics and transport the patient, keeping the litter level.
  5. After the mission, thoroughly clean and decontaminate the non-porous surface per service protocol.
