Quick Overview

The Kemp USA Wheeled Litter Carrier is a trolley designed to clamp onto a standard stretcher, converting a multi-person carry into a two-person or single-person rolling transport. This significantly reduces rescuer fatigue and frees up personnel during mass casualty incidents, wildland fires, or any situation requiring long-distance patient movement over moderate terrain.

Field Application Steps

  1. Unfold the carrier frame and confirm all locking mechanisms are fully engaged and rigid.
  2. Mount an empty litter onto the carrier and secure it by adjusting the telescopic clamps.
  3. Transfer the patient onto the litter only after the litter is securely mounted to the carrier.
  4. Secure the patient to the litter using the litter's integrated straps.
  5. Utilize two operators to push and guide the carrier, maintaining a controlled pace.
  6. Stop and perform a manual lift over significant obstacles such as stairs or large debris.
