Quick Overview

The PerSys Israeli Bandage is a multi-function trauma dressing designed for the rapid control of severe hemorrhage. It integrates a sterile pad, pressure applicator, and closure system into a single unit to apply focused mechanical pressure, and is designed for effective application by responders or the casualty.

Field Application Steps

  1. Expose wound and place the white sterile pad directly over the injury.
  2. Perform one full wrap to secure the pad, then pass the elastic leader through the Pressure Applicator Bar.
  3. Forcefully reverse wrapping direction, cinching the bar down to apply intense, focused pressure onto the wound.
  4. Continue wrapping the leader tightly, covering the pressure bar and entire wound area.
  5. Secure the wrap by inserting the hooks on the Closure Bar into the underlying bandage layers.
  6. Assess for hemorrhage control and prepare for casualty transport.
