Quick Overview

This pannier is designed for bike-mounted emergency responders to securely transport and protect an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in crowded or difficult-to-access environments. It ensures the life-saving device is immediately available and operational for response to cardiac arrest incidents at events, on patrols, or during SAR operations.

Field Application Steps

  1. Securely mount the pannier to the bicycle's right-side rear rack using the J-hooks, bungee, and stability strap.
  2. Load the operational AED into the main padded compartment and stock ancillary supplies in the interior pockets.
  3. Upon arrival at an incident, lay the bicycle on its left side to protect the pannier and its contents.
  4. Unzip the main compartment, lifting the storm flap, to gain immediate access to the AED.
  5. Extract the AED and necessary supplies, then proceed to the patient to deliver care per your training.
  6. Perform a full inspection of all mounting points, zippers, and fabric before each shift.
