Quick Overview

The R&B Duty Belt provides a rigid, 2-inch wide platform for first responders to organize and carry essential, non-load-bearing gear like radios, tools, and pouches. Its primary function is to eliminate equipment sag and shift during movement, ensuring tools remain accessible via a quick-release buckle for rapid deployment.

Field Application Steps

  1. Size the belt to your waist over all gear layers, trim excess webbing, and carefully melt the cut end with a flame to prevent fraying.
  2. Slide all mission-essential pouches and holsters onto the belt.
  3. Use the integrated belt keepers to lock each piece of equipment in its designated operational position, preventing movement.
  4. Wrap the belt around your waist and firmly engage the side-release buckle until it clicks, confirming a secure lock.
  5. To remove, press both side-release prongs on the male buckle simultaneously for immediate doffing.
