Quick Overview

The R&B Hydrant Bag straps directly to a 2.5” or 3” fire hose, ensuring essential hydrant tools are automatically deployed with the supply line. This system eliminates the risk of delaying water supply operations due to forgotten or inaccessible wrenches and adapters.

Field Application Steps

  1. Load the bag with one hydrant wrench and any necessary spanners or adapters required by your jurisdiction.
  2. Securely fasten the bag to the supply hose, 12-24 inches behind the male coupling, using the dual Velcro® straps tightened to maximum tension.
  3. Lay the supply line from the apparatus; the bag and its contents will travel with the hose to the hydrant.
  4. Upon reaching the hydrant, open the Velcro® flap for immediate, one-handed access to all necessary tools.
  5. After use, return tools to the bag to prevent loss on the fireground.
