Quick Overview

This is a high-volume carrier for Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) operations, specifically designed to transport a primary SCBA cylinder and heavy rescue tools. Its snag-free exterior and rigid drag bottom allow it to be moved efficiently through collapsed structures and debris-filled environments.

Field Application Steps

  1. Secure primary equipment (SCBA cylinder or hydraulic tool) with the two internal straps, ensuring the load is immobilized.
  2. Stage smaller, mission-critical tools (wire cutters, webbing) in the two internal side pockets to prevent loss and snagging.
  3. Orient the SCBA cylinder with the valve toward the rapid-open top for immediate access upon arrival at the victim.
  4. Close the top flap and stage the bag on the apparatus for immediate deployment.
  5. Upon RIT activation, drag the bag by its 'Tuff Bottom' through debris to conserve energy and minimize snag hazards.
