Quick Overview

This 2.5L reservoir is intended to replace or upgrade the hydration system in compatible tactical and outdoor packs. Its primary functions are to provide reliable, hands-free hydration for mobile personnel and to protect the water supply from temperature extremes via an insulated hose.

Field Application Steps

  1. Inspect the bladder for integrity, fill with potable water, and purge all excess air before sealing the cap.
  2. Suspend the filled bladder inside the pack's hydration sleeve using the top attachment points to prevent it from slumping.
  3. Route the insulated hose through the pack's designated port and secure it along a shoulder strap for easy access.
  4. Function-check the system by opening the On/Off switch, drawing water through the bite valve, and then immediately closing the switch.
  5. Maintain leak discipline by keeping the On/Off switch in the 'OFF' position at all times except when actively drinking.
  6. After use, thoroughly clean and, most importantly, completely dry the bladder and tube before storage to prevent microbial growth.
