- Before each use, inspect all reflective tape and the five hook-and-loop breakaway points for damage or debris.
- Don the vest and secure all five points (front, sides, shoulders) for a snug fit that does not restrict movement.
- Attach required equipment, such as radio mics and ID, to the designated integration points.
- If a breakaway event occurs, prioritize immediate extrication from the hazard; the vest is secondary.
- After use, clean the vest according to protocol and inspect for damage, replacing it if any safety feature is compromised.
