If light output appears diminished at any point during the inspection, replace all three AAA batteries immediately before placing the unit into service.

3. SECURE CARRY POSITION: Attach the flashlight to your pocket, belt, or MOLLE webbing using the metal pocket clip to ensure immediate accessibility and prevent loss during dynamic movement. Confirm the clip is fully seated and the unit cannot be inadvertently dislodged.

4. ACQUISITION AND GRIP: Draw the flashlight from its stowed position and assume a firm grip that positions your thumb directly over the Tail Cap Switch. Maintain this grip throughout the operation to allow instant mode changes without adjusting hand position.

9. BATTERY REPLACEMENT WHEN REQUIRED: Unscrew the Tail Cap in a counter-clockwise direction to access the battery compartment. Remove the battery housing cartridge, discard the depleted batteries, and insert three new AAA alkaline or lithium batteries observing correct polarity markings. Re-insert the cartridge, screw the Tail Cap clockwise until snug, and verify all five modes operate correctly before returning the unit to service.

10. LONG-TERM STORAGE: Remove all three batteries before storing the unit for 30 or more days to prevent corrosion of the internal contacts. Store in a cool, dry environment away from corrosive materials, and inspect battery contacts for corrosion at each subsequent battery change.
