3. LOAD TIER 2 BULK ITEMS INTO THE MAIN COMPARTMENT: Position the laptop flat against the rear wall of the main compartment, then pack binders and documents in front of it. Keep total load within the 15 to 20 pound recommended limit to protect strap anchor seams and hardware.

4. STAGE TIER 1 RAPID ACCESS ITEMS IN FRONT POCKETS: Place notebook, pens, charger, and frequently accessed items into the two front open-top pockets located under the main flap. Note that these pockets provide no security, only convenience.

5. LOAD ANCILLARY ITEMS INTO SIDE POCKETS: Place a water bottle in one snap-closure side pocket and a multi-tool, tourniquet, or small first aid kit in the other. Confirm each snap engages to provide moderate retention.

6. SECURE THE MAIN FLAP: Fold the main flap squarely over the bag's opening and press firmly along the full length of the hook-and-loop strips to ensure complete closure and content retention during movement.

7. DON AND ADJUST THE SHOULDER STRAP: Place the bag on one shoulder or configure it cross-body using the adjustable strap, which extends up to 52 inches. Adjust so the bag rests at the hip or lower back to allow unimpeded movement.

8. CONFIRM LOAD STABILITY: Conduct a brief test walk to verify no unacceptable load shifting is occurring. If shifting is significant, redistribute weight or tighten strap adjustment before proceeding to the operational environment.
