Quick Overview

This pouch provides high-security carriage for two M4/M16 magazines, utilizing a dual hook-and-loop and snap closure to prevent loss during dynamic movement. Its key feature is the set of internal hard inserts that keep the pouch rigid, allowing for reliable one-handed magazine re-indexing without the pouch collapsing.

Field Application Steps

  1. Securely mount the pouch to PALS webbing by correctly weaving both rear MOLLE straps and fastening the snaps.
  2. Load up to two 30-round M4/M16 magazines and secure the flap using the hook-and-loop for quick access or the additional metal snap for maximum retention.
  3. To draw a magazine, defeat the closure system with a positive upward pull on the flap and extract the magazine.
  4. To re-index a magazine, guide it into the rigid opening provided by the hard inserts, which prevents the pouch from collapsing and allows for one-handed operation.
