Quick Overview

This kit converts a standard G.I. canteen into a hands-free hydration system, allowing for continuous water access while on the move. It is designed for military personnel, hikers, and other outdoor users who need to stay hydrated without removing their canteen from its pouch.

Field Application Steps

  1. Inspect and clean all components prior to use to ensure operational safety.
  2. Securely replace the standard canteen cap with the kit's adapter on a filled G.I. canteen.
  3. Route the 3-foot hose from the canteen pouch to your shoulder, avoiding kinks or snag hazards.
  4. Use the integrated clip to affix the drinking valve to a pack strap or webbing for immediate access.
  5. After drinking in sub-freezing temperatures, blow air back into the tube to clear it and prevent freezing.
  6. Thoroughly clean and air dry all components immediately after use to prevent biological contamination.
