The canvas construction provides durability and abrasion resistance with moderate water resistance, but canvas will saturate under sustained rain exposure. All moisture-sensitive equipment, including electronics, documents, and medical supplies, must be independently waterproofed inside dedicated dry bags or cases before being stowed. Field Application Steps

7. TERRAIN-BASED CARRY ADJUSTMENT: For longer foot movement or uneven terrain, transition to the dual backpack strap configuration. Adjust both straps equally to center the load high on the back and stow the shoulder strap to eliminate snag hazards.

8. POST-MISSION INSPECTION AND CLEANING: Brush off loose dirt and spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry completely before storage and inspect all seams, straps, and snap closures for wear, fraying, or deformation.
