Quick Overview

The Rothco Skirmish is a 3-day assault pack designed for organizing and transporting a 72-hour loadout for tactical, survival, or public safety operations. Its primary function is to serve as a high-capacity Bug-Out Bag (BOB) or mission-specific gear transport, providing the structural support needed to carry heavy weight over extended distances.

Field Application Steps

  1. Plan and tier your loadout, placing heavy items high and close to the spine inside the main compartment.
  2. Loosen all harness straps, don the pack, and secure the waist belt first to transfer the majority of the weight to your hips.
  3. Adjust the shoulder and sternum straps to pull the pack snugly against your torso for stability.
  4. Cinch the four side compression straps to immobilize the internal load and minimize the pack's profile.
  5. Attach mission-essential pouches to the external MOLLE platform for rapid, customized access.
